Tom Burger is an accomplished engineering manager and vice president with extensive experience in the financial technology sector. Currently, Tom serves as an Engineering Manager - Vice President at WorldQuant, starting in June 2023. Previously, Tom worked at PDT Partners from August 2013 to March 2023 as a Software Engineer - Vice President, and held the position of Linux Application Engineer at Optiver from May 2012 to July 2013. Tom's career began as a Trading Intern at Paradigm Group in 2007, followed by a role as Support Team Manager at InfoReach until May 2012. Tom also contributed as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Physics Department at the University of Notre Dame from 2004 to 2006, where foundational skills in technology development were cultivated. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Notre Dame, awarded in 2006.
