Gabriela Casaseca Fillette is currently based in Mexico, continuing a career in the humanitarian field with a focus on project management, climate response, and human rights. Since 2026, they have served as a paralegal and interpreter at Al Otro Lado, providing essential legal support to migrants and asylum seekers. Previously, they worked at the Belgium Red Cross and Fedasil, where they engaged directly with asylum seekers, enhancing their understanding of the challenges faced by displaced individuals. Gabriela holds a Master's degree in Mediation and Resolution of International Conflicts and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs.
