Kate Graves

Senior Director, Communications And Fuller Program, Gobal Science

Kate Graves is an accomplished environmental communications professional with extensive experience in knowledge management, internal communications, and community building within the conservation sector. Since 2011, Kate has held various leadership roles at the World Wildlife Fund, including Senior Director and Director of Communications for the Global Science program, and has managed the Kathryn S. Fuller Science for Nature Fund. Prior to this, Kate served as Program Director at Island Press, overseeing the Climate Adaptation Knowledge Exchange, and as the Southeast Climate Program Officer at World Wildlife Fund, where an initiative was developed to empower youth affected by Hurricane Katrina. Early career experience includes serving as Special Projects Coordinator for Tennessee Conservation Voters, where Kate created the first environmental scorecard in the state. Kate holds a Master of Science in Environmental Policy from Michigan Technological University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from The University of the South.
