Matthew Hollingworth served as an Emergency Logistics Officer for the World Food Programme from 2001 to 2006, working in various countries, including Afghanistan and Iraq. Currently, Matthew holds the position of Country Director for the WFP in Ukraine, where they lead efforts to support up to 3 million war-affected citizens per month. Previously, Matthew has acted as a Representative and Country Director in multiple countries, including Syria and South Sudan, driving significant growth in humanitarian programs and resource management. Matthew also has a background in humanitarian logistics from their time with Response International and has earned degrees in Philosophy & Politics, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, and a diploma in Humanitarian Assistance.
