Yara Quiros Soto is a Senior Financial Sector Specialist at the World Bank, bringing twenty years of experience in investigating fraud and corruption. Previously, Yara served as an investigator for the United Nations and held roles as a prosecutor in Costa Rica and an Anti-Corruption Specialist at the Basel Institute on Governance. Yara earned a Master's degree in International Human Rights Law from Oxford University and has worked extensively across Latin America, Africa, Europe, and Asia. Fluent in English and Spanish, Yara also speaks conversational French and Portuguese.
