Lauren Kelly serves as the Lead for Planet and Sustainable Development within the Independent Evaluation Group at The World Bank since July 2013, where responsibilities include strategic oversight, department management, and relationship building with stakeholders. Previously, Lauren held the role of Interim Coordinator for Agriculture, Environment and Climate Change, developing strategies for evaluation priorities in these sectors. Earlier experience includes serving as a Consultant for the United Nations Development Group, leading a review of the Secretary General's UN Reform Initiative, and a Stagiere at the European Parliament. Educational background comprises a Master’s degree in Economics and International Affairs, a Diploma in Conflict Management from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Rochester, among other qualifications.
