Kirsi Burghardt Propst is the Chief Counsel for Operations Policy at The World Bank, where they have previously served as Lead Operations Officer and Senior Counsel and Team Lead for the IDA. They began their legal career as an Attorney at Hogan Lovells from 2001 to 2004 and held various roles at the World Bank Group and European Commission. Kirsi's educational background includes an LL.M. in International Law from Georgetown University Law Center and law degrees from the University of Cologne and Université de Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne. They were also an active participant in the European Law Students Association, serving as Vice President from 1993 to 1995.
