Benjamin Meersman has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Associate General Counsel at Workiva since December 2018, having previously held roles as Senior Counsel and Contracts Counsel at the same company. Prior to Workiva, Benjamin was an Associate Attorney at Califf & Harper, P.C. from May 2014 to November 2018, and also served as a Law Clerk there. Additional experience includes positions as a Summer Associate at Califf & Harper, P.C., Student Writer for the Journal of Corporation Law, Summer Intern at the Rock Island County State's Attorney's Office, Microeconomics Tutor at The University of Iowa, and Congressional Intern for the 17th Congressional District of Illinois. Benjamin holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Iowa College of Law (2011-2014) and a BBA in Economics from the University of Iowa (2007-2011).
