Mervil Johnson serves as the Workforce Collaboration Director at Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County since March 1998, where responsibilities include coordinating communication among community leaders and organizations to enhance workforce initiatives, notably contributing to the establishment of Texas's largest and longest-standing fatherhood collaboration. Previous roles include Workforce Collaboration Manager and FACT Project Director, focusing on project oversight, team management, public speaking, grant writing, policy development, and budget preparation. Prior experience includes serving as Project Director at Challenge, Inc., leading community organizers in Fort Worth to combat substance abuse, and serving as Assistant Dean at Tarrant County College, where course development and material translation were key responsibilities. Mervil holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and French and a Master of Public Administration in Political Science and Government from Texas Christian University, along with a certificat from Universite de Nice in International Business Studies.
