Velu Mathinam is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in API manufacturing operations across multiple leading pharmaceutical companies. Currently serving as the Site Head for API manufacturing operations at Wockhardt Ltd. since March 2025, Velu has previously held key leadership positions at Gland Pharma Limited and DMC LLC, among others. With a solid foundation in manufacturing investigations and operational excellence from roles at AUROBINDO PHARMA LTD and Sai Life Sciences Ltd, Velu has demonstrated expertise in overseeing sterile and non-sterile API production, process automation, and compliance activities. Academic achievements include an MTech in Pharmaceutical Operations and Management from BITS Pilani and an MPhil in Chemistry from Bharathidasan University.
