Yuval Baumel is an AI researcher currently serving as the Principal AI Research Scientist at Wix, where they lead research in AI, focusing on LLMs training and alignment, diffusion models, and copilots. Previously, Yuval held various roles at Intuition Robotics, including Head of Research and Machine Learning Researcher, managing full-cycle ML solutions and leading data science and generative AI initiatives. They also worked as a Deep Learning Researcher at Cornell University, studying the dynamics of deep neuronal networks in reinforcement learning. Yuval earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Bar-Ilan University and completed a postdoc in Deep Reinforcement Learning at Cornell University.
