Prashant Krishnan is a Data Scientist at Wiliot since August 2023, with previous experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC San Diego from January 2022 to June 2023, where work focused on improving few-shot entity recognition using multimodal language models and graph neural networks under Professor Jingbo Shang. Prior experience includes an ML Intern role at Apple, where time series clustering models were developed for analyzing budget utilization of Search Ads, as well as research positions at the Indian Institute of Science, where a siamese style neural network approach to speaker verification was created. An earlier Software Engineer Intern role at IBM involved automation projects, and a Business Project Intern placement at Light Works Corporation in Japan focused on IT security in SMEs. Prashant also contributed to developing an automated checkout verification system during an internship at Perpule. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Engineering from Ramaiah Institute of Technology.
