Sara Thompson is currently working as an Environmental Scientist at Wildlands Engineering, Inc. since June 2020. Prior to this, Sara was a Geographic Information Systems Technician at The University of the South from August 2019 to June 2020. Sara also served as a Student Secretary at the same university from August 2015 to May 2019. Additionally, Sara was a Research Intern at a collaborative program between Sewanee and St. Catherines Island, GA. Sara's background includes experience as a Summer Intern at Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority in 2018. Sara holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Geology/Earth Science from The University of the South. Sara is skilled in ecological assessments, GIS support, research, data analysis, and environmental monitoring.
