Patrick Michetti, BSc, P.Eng, is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Exploitation Engineer on the New Energy Team at Whitecap Resources Inc. since December 2017, Patrick leads project management for four carbon sequestration hubs in Alberta and Saskatchewan, focusing on CCUS and carbon sequestration initiatives. Previously, during a nine-year tenure at Cenovus Energy, Patrick held roles as a Senior Development Engineer and Reservoir Engineer, specializing in reservoir characterization and simulation. Prior experience includes strategic planning and environmental analysis at Encana Corporation, junior environmental consulting at BP, and aerodynamics research at ABB. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
