Mark W. Allen has extensive experience in operations and strategic development within various industries. Currently serving as the Group Director of Restaurant Development at Whataburger since June 2015, Mark is responsible for shaping company strategy at both corporate and market levels, encompassing business plan development and innovative product processes. Prior roles include General Manager at Republic Services and Executive Vice President of Operations at The Scooter Store, where Mark oversaw P&L and operational activities across numerous distribution and retail centers. Mark began career development at Checks In The Mail as Director of Operations, managing significant revenue accountability, and gained foundational experience at Harland Clarke, progressing to Operations Manager. Mark holds a degree from Texas A&M University, obtained between 1981 and 1985.
