Erin Kinsella Piper is currently the AVP of Government Affairs at Unum, a position held since 2025. Previously, Erin served in several roles including Senior Analyst at the Maine Public Employees Retirement System from 2011 to 2017 and Special Assistant to the Under Secretary for Domestic Finance at the U.S. Department of the Treasury from 2010 to 2011. Erin has also held leadership positions as the Head of Strategy for Risk and Compliance at WEX and worked as a Risk Manager and Director of Government Affairs and Strategy there. Erin earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Magna Cum Laude, from Georgetown University, following an education at Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School.
