Mauro Lionel Kante is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit risk management and accounting across multiple regions. Currently serving as Finance Risk Manager at Western Union since April 2023, Mauro oversees finance credit risk for agents in Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America. Prior roles include Cross Accounting Sr. Manager at PedidosYa, where leadership of a 40-employee team facilitated accounting operations for over 15 countries, and Regional Accounting Manager at Western Union, focusing on local and corporate reporting in several South American countries. Mauro’s career includes significant positions at Google, Thomson Reuters, JPMorgan Chase, Deloitte Argentina, Heidelberg, and Deutsche Bank, showcasing a strong foundation in corporate accounting, SOX compliance, and regulatory reporting. Mauro holds a CPA degree from the University of Buenos Aires and has pursued further education in innovation and inclusive leadership.
