Thomas Goad is the Director of Compliance and Safety at Western Reserve Academy, where they have been serving since 2016. With over 23 years of law enforcement experience, Thomas has developed and led initiatives within a community of 59,000 residents. They have held various managerial roles, notably as Deputy Chief of the City of Royal Oak, where they oversaw daily operations for a police staff and significantly contributed to large-scale event management. Thomas's accomplishments include designing agency-wide reports on police use-of-force, mentoring staff, and leading complex investigations. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from Eastern Michigan University and completed the Police Staff and Command program at Northwestern University.
