Nirmal John, FRM®, is currently an Executive Director at Wells Fargo, overseeing Quantitative Model Solutions, after previously serving as an AVP at Citi from 2019 to 2022. Nirmal has extensive experience in implementing and monitoring models for CCAR, CECL, and IFRS9 during their tenure at Citi and has held various roles in credit risk analytics at Northern Trust Corporation and HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management. Nirmal is pursuing a Master of Technology in Data Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Technology in Bioinformatics from Karunya University, while also enrolled in an Executive Program in Leadership and Management at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
