Grímur Grímsson has a diverse work experience in the video production and web design industries. Grímur has worked for Webflow as a Sr. Video Producer since October 2022, previously holding the roles of Video Producer and Video Editor. Before joining Webflow, Grímur worked as a Freelance Video Editor for Netflix from April 2018 to December 2018. Grímur also worked as a Freelance Videographer for Culture Trip, where they filmed and interviewed subjects for videos in San Francisco and Iceland, from February 2017 to December 2018. Grímur gained experience in digital media as a Digital Media Intern at SNP Communications from May 2017 to August 2017, where they updated websites and provided web design services for clients. Additionally, they served as a Web & Video Project Manager for Full Frontal Fatherhood from May 2014 to July 2017, where they played a pivotal role in website setup, filmed and edited videos that achieved high viewership on YouTube and Facebook. Grímur further showcased their skills as a Freelance Web Designer and Videographer for Tækniskólinn, where they created websites and videos to promote campaigns and recruit students. Grímur began their career at SNP Communications as a Video Production Intern, handling After Effects projects for Yahoo, assisting with video editing, and maintaining digital assets.

Grímur pursued their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Web Design & New Media from the Academy of Art University from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Motion Picture and Television - Editing from the same university, graduating in 2013. In 2010, Grímur attended the Icelandic Multimedia School where they obtained an Academy Profession Degree in Multimedia, which they completed in 2010.
