Qingyong Xu is a highly experienced professional in the field of transplant immunology, with a notable tenure as Head of the Transplant Immunology Lab at London Health Sciences Centre from March 2015 to September 2019. Prior to this role, Qingyong Xu served as a Scientist at Saskatoon Health Region from 2007 to March 2015 and led the Dr. Marc Baltzan HLA Laboratory at St. Paul's Hospital from April 2012 to March 2015. Additionally, Qingyong Xu held the position of Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Saskatchewan during the same period. Currently, Qingyong Xu is involved with UPMC as Co-Director and Associate Director of the Tissue Typing Laboratory and serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, following earlier work as an Assistant Professor. Qingyong Xu obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Transplant Immunology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
