Megan Lai is a Senior Genome Analyst at UPMC with twenty years of diverse laboratory experience in molecular and cell biology, and six years of experience in genomics and cancer biology. They hold a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and have a track record of proficiency in genomic data analysis, next-generation sequencing techniques, and mentoring students in research projects. Previously, Megan served as an Assistant Professor at Washington & Jefferson College and as a Visiting Assistant Professor at St. Mary's College of Maryland, where they taught various biology courses. Throughout their career, they have been involved in significant research initiatives, ranging from cancer genomics to HIV-1 inhibition, and have worked in various esteemed institutions, including Johns Hopkins University and Personalized Genomics.
