Stearne Briem is an experienced scientist with a robust background in formulation and analytical chemistry. Currently serving as Formulation Group Lead - Scientist at Wave Life Sciences since November 2022, Stearne leads a team in providing high-quality oligonucleotides for therapeutic research and bioanalytical development while also mentoring junior scientists. Prior to this role, Stearne held positions at Biobot Analytics, including Research Associate V, where methods for biomarker quantification were developed and automated workflows were established. Additional experience includes serving as a National and Regional Referee for the U.S. Soccer Federation and roles at Ginkgo Bioworks, J.R. Simplot Company, and George's Cycles. Stearne holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The College of Idaho.
