Amanda Gilbert

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Amanda Gilbert is a PhD student in Public Health Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, focusing on obesity, chronic disease prevention, and health behavior change across the life course, particularly among women of reproductive age. With a Master's in Public Health specializing in epidemiology and biostatistics, Amanda has gained extensive quantitative and methodological expertise. Previous experience includes roles as an Oncology Social Worker at Mount Sinai Health System and as a Palliative Care Social Work Fellow at the Department of Veterans Affairs, where Amanda provided patient advocacy, care coordination, and support for end-of-life decision making. Amanda holds a B.A. in Anthropology and International Studies from Brandeis University, as well as a Master of Social Work from New York University.
