Gregory Gromowski has a robust background in viral diseases research, holding the position of Associate Director of the Viral Diseases Program. They completed their BS in Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned a PhD in Experimental Pathology from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Gromowski's experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at UTMB and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health. They further advanced their career as the Chief of the Medical Countermeasures Department and Associate Director of the Viral Diseases Branch at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Additionally, Gromowski began their research journey as an undergraduate and research assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
