Josh Goering is an experienced legal, ethics, and compliance professional currently serving as Lead Counsel in Legal Investigations at Walmart's corporate headquarters. With over nine years at the Fortune 1 company, they have held various roles including Senior Manager of Specialty Compliance and Ethics and Director of U.S. Ethics, where they supervised numerous internal investigations and improved compliance rates. Josh's previous experience includes serving as Chief of National Security Law in the US Army and positions as a Judge Advocate in the Iowa Army National Guard, where they provided legal advice on a multitude of issues. They earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law and are pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in History from Central College.
