Raluca Ionescu is currently the Director of International Sales at Waldorf Astoria New York, a position held since 2025. Previously, Raluca has held various roles in operations and commercial at Malmaison and Hotel du Vin Brand from 2011 to 2014 and served as Director of Specialty Markets at both New York Hilton Midtown (2024-2025) and Conrad New York Midtown (2022-2024). Raluca also worked as a Business Development Executive at Royal Lancaster London (2015-2016) and as a Business Development Manager at Conrad London St. James Hotel (2016-2017). Raluca's early career included a role as Group and Events Sales Executive at InterContinental London Park Lane (2014-2015) and Senior Sales Manager at Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah (2019-2022). Raluca is currently pursuing education at the University of Birmingham.
