Waqiah Ellis, PhD, RN, NE-BC, BCC, is an experienced Vice President of Nursing and a Board Certified Leadership Coach. Currently serving as an Executive Coach, Facilitator, and Keynote Speaker at Execute Coaching and Consulting, LLC since 2022, Waqiah previously held several key roles at Cone Health, including Chief Nursing Officer and Executive Director of Nursing and Patient Services. Additionally, Waqiah was Vice President of Nursing at WakeMed from 2020 to 2021 and is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Waqiah earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership Studies from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University between 2017 and 2021.
