Luca Merlo is currently the Vice President, HR Business Partner - Operations & Head of HR Ops - Transit at Wabtec Corporation, where they oversee HR management at the Transit Operations level and implement strategic HR policies. Luca previously served as the HR Director for the Brakes and Safety Group at Wabtec, and held various leadership roles in industrial human resources at companies such as Bulgari and Alstom. Their extensive experience spans multiple HR functions across different countries and cultures, with a strong focus on union negotiation, people development, and process implementation. Luca holds a Master in Human Resources Strategy from SDA Bocconi and a degree in Political Sciences from Università degli Studi di Torino.
