Steven Howard, PE, currently serves as Manager of Engineering Projects at Vulcan Materials Company since July 2021, having previously held the position of Area Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Operations for N. California & N. Nevada Aggregates at CEMEX, where Steven managed P&L responsibility for significant production and import levels across multiple operations. As Aggregates Area Manager in the Bay Area, responsibilities included P&L oversight for additional production and import operations. Steven's earlier career at Lehigh Hanson involved role advancements culminating in Plant Manager, where a safety-first culture was promoted alongside managing substantial operational and capital project responsibilities. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance & International Business from the University of San Diego and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
