Philip Phibbs has extensive experience within Vulcan Materials Company, serving in various roles since June 1991, including Manager of Operations Support and multiple positions as District Operations Manager and Plant Manager across various quarries in North Carolina. Notable responsibilities include overseeing operational support services, managing the 115 Quarry and Boone Quarry, and directing multiple quarry sites within Forsyth and Guilford Counties. Earlier roles included Pit Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and Operations Trainee, where Philip gained hands-on experience in quarry processes and equipment repair. Philip began with Vulcan as a Summer Intern in customer service before completing a B.S. in Industrial Technology/Adult Education from Appalachian State University and an Associate degree in Automotive Technology from Surry Community College.
