- Principal Consultant - IoT Firmware Architect at Everything Set from December 2019 to present. Developed a general purpose IoT framework using Python for data collection and reporting, with communication to AWS cloud backend.
- Lead Consultant at 20Mtns since December 2016, providing data entity and data resolution services to small to midsize companies, specializing in post-acquisition integration.

- CAD/PLM Integration Consultant at Adecco Group at NestLabs from August 2014 to June 2015, involved in the acquisition of Nest Labs by Google.

Jay Venti has a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley. After that, they pursued a Masters degree in archaeology at UCL. They also started a PhD program in quantitative anthropology at the University of California, Davis, but are currently on leave from the program. In terms of additional certifications, Jay obtained a MEAN Stack certification from Coding Dojo in January 2016 and an Introduction to Data Science certification from Coursera in June 2013.
