Adam Polcyn is the Vice President of Research and Development at Vitro Architectural Glass, where they have worked since 2019. Prior to this role, Adam was a Senior Research Manager at Vitro from 2016 to 2018, and held various positions, including Senior Research Associate and Senior Research Manager at PPG Industries from 2005 to 2012. Adam began their career as a Development Engineer at Hitachi from 2002 to 2005, focusing on thin film magnetic media products. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in Physics, Summa Cum Laude, from Princeton University and a Ph.D. in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
