Dr. Mathias Knechtel serves as the Vice President and Division Head of the Draloric Beyschlag Resistor Division at Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., a position held since March 2001. In addition to this role, Dr. Knechtel has been the Managing Director of VISHAY Bccomponents Beyschlag GmbH and has held various leadership positions in Quality Assurance and Product Marketing within the company. Prior experience includes serving as Manager of Product & Process Development at BC Components Beyschlag and as an Engineer in Product Development at Philips Lighting. Dr. Knechtel holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Science from Hamburg University of Technology, a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Hamburg, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Goethe University Frankfurt.
