Maurice Newa is the Managing Director for Southern Africa at Visa, bringing extensive CXO experience across the telecommunications, media, technology, fintech, and FMCG industries. With a proven track record of turning around businesses, Maurice previously held key leadership positions at Airtel Nigeria, Zain, and Vaya Technologies Limited, among others. Maurice's educational background includes a Bachelor of Social Science in Economics from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College, and several executive leadership programs from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School and INSEAD. Currently, Maurice is pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy at the University of Malawi, The Polytechnic.
