Deepankar Dangwal is a highly skilled geophysicist with extensive experience in seismic imaging and interpretation. Currently serving as a Staff Seismic Imager at CGG since March 2023, Deepankar has previously held roles as a Seismic Imager and Seismic Imaging Analyst. Deepankar completed a PhD in Geophysics and Seismology at the University of Oklahoma, where also acted as a Graduate Research Assistant from August 2018 to February 2023, focusing on passive seismic imaging. Deepankar's academic journey includes a visiting researcher position at Caltech, specializing in Distributed Acoustic Sensing. Professional experience includes serving as a Geophysicist and QC Officer at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd, where Deepankar contributed to seismic processing, interpretation, and quality control on marine seismic vessels. Deepankar holds an Integrated Master of Technology in Geophysics and Seismology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
