Okumu Cephas is currently working as a Transmission Engineer at Vidullanka PLC, focusing on ensuring power availability along the Bukinda SHPP Evacuation route. Okumu also serves as a Faculty Lecturer at Kampala International University, where Okumu prepares and delivers lectures, develops curriculum, collaborates with other academicians, and conducts research. Previously, Okumu worked as a Design Engineer at BTW-Atlanta Transformers India Pvt Ltd, and as a Projects Engineer and Electrical Engineer at Climax Technical Services. Okumu holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Gujarat Technological University and a Master's degree specializing in power systems from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya.
