Dr. Astrid Löwe is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management and research across various sectors, primarily in the fields of renewable energy and safety technology. Currently serving as Managing Director at Availon GmbH since January 2020, Dr. Löwe has held key positions including Service Director for Onshore Operations and Head of Product Integrity. Prior roles include R&D Manager for both Alcohol Measurement and Catalytic Gas Sensors at Dräger Safety AG & Co. KGaA, where responsibilities encompassed technology strategy and team development. Dr. Löwe has also contributed significantly to Nordex Energy GmbH, leading initiatives in blade system development and research. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Natural Sciences and a Diplom in Chemistry from Bielefeld University.
