  • Experience reading schematics, drawings, work instructions.
  • Adept at building mechanical assemblies and components per mechanical work instructions or drawings.
  • Ability to construct electrical cable assemblies per electrical schematics and test such assemblies.
  • Use reasoning skills to test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical assemblies to define root cause.
  • Proficiencyusing both hand tools and electrical tools, meters, torque wrenches, etc.
  • Detailed verification of materials received in work area per work order and identification of any discrepancies.
  • Ensure all documentation associated with product builds are correctly filled out and accurate as build progresses.
  • Perform other task as needed.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Must wear steel-toed bootswear protective eyewear.
  • Other personal protective equipment as applicable.
  • May require hearing protection.
  • Frequency of viewing a computer monitor frequency of computer keyboarding.
  • Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds
  • Able to climb ladders stoop, stretch, squat and stand for long periods of time.

Necessary skills / training:

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Mechanical aptitude and at least three years of formal or informal hands-on experience with mechanical systems and components.
  • Preference will be given to those possessing experience with metrology equipment or specialized machinery.

  • Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must wear steel-toed boots.
  • Must wear protective eyewear.
  • May require hearing protection.
  • High frequency of computer keyboarding
  • High frequency of viewing a computer monitor
  • Other personal protective equipment as applicable

Nice to have:

  • Forklift experience a plus
  • Lean methodology experience a plus

Shift Details:

  • Five days a week: Monday-Friday6:00am-2:30pm
  • OT as needed during work week and weekends.
