Melissa Moriarty serves as the Deputy General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Innovation and Policy at VaynerX since January 2017, providing legal counsel and negotiating contracts across various subsidiaries and international offices. In this role, Melissa drives the development and implementation of organizational vision and strategic priorities, particularly in the deployment of artificial intelligence technologies. Previous positions include Deputy General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel at VaynerMedia, where responsibilities encompassed drafting nondisclosure agreements and analyzing social media platform terms. Melissa's earlier experiences include research fellowships and internships with the Fordham Intellectual Property Law Institute, Lincoln Square Legal Services, and United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Melissa holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and a B.A. in Economics from Duke University.
