Marcelo Cruz currently serves as the Head of Backend at Valtech since June 2018, where responsibilities include managing development conventions for backend solutions and assessing team training needs. Prior to this role, Marcelo held various positions at IT Crowd Argentina, including Java Technical Lead and Software Developer, and contributed as a Freelance Software Architect focusing on call center system architecture. Marcelo's experience extends to Globant, working on applications for business travel management and crew coordination for United Airlines, along with a background in software development at Globo Distributions and as technical support at Informatorio Chaco. Marcelo holds a degree in Técnico Electromecánico from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional and has a foundational education at Escuela Técnica N°1 Juan Esteban Martinez.
