Matti Tikkanen is a Lead Engineer in Process Engineering at Valmet, where they focus on product and process engineering for power boiler, gasification, and pyrolysis plants. Matti graduated with a Master’s degree in Energy Technology from LUT University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Energy Technology from JAMK University of Applied Sciences. Previously, they worked as a Process Engineer at UPM and Oukotek Oy, as well as an Electrician at Sisämaan Sähköpalvelu. Matti has extensive experience in process operations and technical drawing, and they have developed skills in artificial intelligence-based process monitoring systems.
