Since 1949, Valley Credit Union has proudly served citizens within the Big Sky Country, which now includes 11 counties across Montana and Wyoming. From the beginning, we were founded on the promise to provide accommodating, personalized service, as well as top-notch financial services to our members. Those founding principles are the same driving force that still directs our mission today.

Above all else, our primary motivation is always you. As a not-for-profit organization, we truly operate for the well being of our members. Unlike customers who just use the services of a financial institution, credit union members become part owners. And any profit generated is automatically put back into Valley Federal Credit Union to pay dividends, build reserves, and pay operating expenses. 

In that way, being a part of a credit union is really more like being a part of a close-knit family — one that functions for the betterment of all parties involved. Comprised of key executives including the CEO, CFO, Chief Operations Officer, and other senior vice presidents, this team works collaboratively to steer operational priorities, oversee financial health, drive technological advancements, and foster community engagement. Their collective goal is to uphold the founding principles of personalized service and member well-being, while continually enhancing the financial services offered to members across Montana and Wyoming.

The Operations and Financial Management team at Valley Credit Union oversees the efficient functioning of daily operations and manages the overall financial stability of the organization. This team is responsible for strategic financial planning, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. They also monitor and optimize financial performance, manage investments, and work to enhance member services through streamlined processes and fiscal prudence.

Operations and Financial Management

The Finance and Lending Team at Valley Credit Union is dedicated to providing accommodating and personalized lending and financial services to our members. Led by the Chief Lending Officer, this team includes the SVP of Mortgage and Consumer Lending, who focuses on home and personal loans, and the SVP of Commercial Services, who oversees commercial lending solutions. Their collective efforts ensure that members receive tailored financial support that prioritizes their well-being and helps the community thrive.
