Edward "Brett" Blackman, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Treasury and Reporting at Validus Energy since March 2025. Prior to this role, Brett held various positions at Discovery Natural Resources LLC from June 2017 to March 2025, including Assistant Controller-Financial and Accounting Manager. Brett's career began at Deloitte, where notable roles included Audit Senior and Audit Staff from September 2014 to June 2017. Brett earned a Master's degree in Accounting from Colorado State University in 2014, following a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting from the same institution in 2012.
