Nathan Smith is a seasoned IT security professional with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Sr. Manager IT Security at Vail Resorts since February 2024, Nathan also contributes as a Security Researcher with Synack Red Team and as Associate Director and Lead Penetration Tester at Webcheck Security. Nathan has a strong background in teaching, holding an adjunct professor position at Pima Community College, where Nathan developed and teaches an ethical hacking course. Prior roles include IS Security Manager for bioMérieux, Director of Information Security at Arcserve, and various positions focused on security analysis and management at organizations such as Utah Education Network and inContact. Nathan holds a Master of Science in Information Security and Assurance from Western Governors University and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Stevens Henager College.
