Saravanan Krishnan has extensive experience in the water and environmental sectors, currently serving as the Head of Desalination Business for the India Cluster at VA TECH WABAG LTD. since April 2022. Prior to this role, Saravanan held the position of Head of Industrial and Desalination Businesses at Larsen & Toubro from May 1998 to March 2022. Earlier career positions include serving as an Environmental Engineer at Kirloskar Consultancy Pvt. Limited from January 1997 to May 1998, and as a Process Engineer at SACEDE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED for a brief period in 1996. Saravanan holds a Postgraduate Degree in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from Anna University Chennai and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Madras.
