Tom Eck is the Chief Corporate Governance Officer and Corporate Secretary at USAA, where they lead the corporate governance team, advising management and the boards on effective oversight and fiduciary obligations. With over thirty years in financial services, Tom has held senior legal positions including Deputy General Counsel at Huntington National Bank and Associate General Counsel at Capital One. They also served as Chairman of the Virginia Fair Housing Board, appointed by the governor. Tom has extensive litigation experience, having been Senior Litigation Counsel at Bank of America and Senior Trial Attorney at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California.
