Jane Brittan currently serves as Senior Counsel and Attorney Advisor for the U.S. Secret Service, a position held since September 2017. Prior to this role, Jane worked as a Labor and Employment Law Associate Attorney at Paul Hastings from October 2016 to August 2017 and was a Graduate Research Fellow at the Center for Legal and Court Technology, where responsibilities included providing courtroom technology instruction and drafting educational materials from August 2013 to May 2016. Additional experience includes a Summer Associate position at Paul Hastings and a Judicial Externship at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, where legal research and drafting were key tasks. Earlier, Jane supported multiple attorneys as an Executive Litigation Assistant at Robert L. Shipley & Associates from November 2010 to July 2013 and completed an internship with the Foreign Commercial Service at the United States Embassy in early 2009. Jane received a Juris Doctor degree from William & Mary Law School in 2016 and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago in 2010.
