Chantel Charais served as a Commander and Nurse Corps Officer in the US Navy from 2016 to 2019. During this time, they excelled as a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist, Critical Care Specialty Leader, and Director for Branch Health Clinics, overseeing multiple health clinics and leading a community of nurses while responding to global health crises. They have held roles across various Navy vessels and provided critical care and trauma training. Currently, Chantel is a Doctor of Nursing Practice Advisor at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, reflecting their commitment to nursing education and leadership.
