Shakir Zareen is an experienced software and security architect with a diverse background in software development across various platforms, including MacOS, iOS, and Windows. Beginning a career with COMSATS Institute of IT as a Software Engineer, Shakir advanced through roles at prominent organizations such as HSBC, where responsibilities included application security assessments and risk management, and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, focusing on mobile application security. Shakir also served as a Technical Lead at First Abu Dhabi Bank and has been engaged with clients on Upwork since August 2007. Currently, Shakir is pursuing a PhD in Cybersecurity with a focus on Healthcare IoT, Machine Learning, and Blockchain at Abertay University.
